The Greatness of God

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.

(Revelation 22:13)

انجيل ِ مسيح: «(خداوند فرمود:) منم آلفا و اُمگا* اولين و آخرين هستم. آغازم و پايانم.»

He is the First and the Last, the Seen and the Hidden, and He knows all things.

(Koran 57:3)

قرآن ِ محمد: «او اول و آخر است. پيدا و پنهان اوست و همه چيز را مي داند.»

God and Money

No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

(Matthew 6:24)

انجيل ِ مسيح: «كسي نمي تواند به خدمت ِ دو چيز در آيد مگر اينكه بالاخره از يكي متنفر و بديگري عاشق شود. فداي يكي و خسته از ديگري شود. تو نمي تواني در آن ِ واحد هم به خدا و هم به پول خدمت كني.»

God sets forth a comparison: A man belonging to many partners at odds with each other, and a man devoted entirely to one master. Are the two alike? Praise to God but nobody understand.

(Koran 39:29)

قرآن ِ محمد: «خداوند مثل مي زند، آيا كسي كه اربابان متعدد دارد همه مخالف ِ يكديگر، با كسي كه تسليم ِ امر ِ يك نفر است، حال ِ اين دو شخص يكيست؟ خدا را شكر كه نيست ولي اكثر مردم ساده از كنار ِ اين معني زد مي شوند.»
